Selection Process::

There Will be three paper in written test as details given below.

Paper-I (Intelligence Test & General Knowledge)

(This will include General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Current Event, Matters of every day observation and experience.)

Paper-II (Professional Skill)

Time : 2 Hrs

No of Question : 100

(This will be designed to test professional skills of the candidate in relation to operational and administrative requirement of the Force of which he I a member.)

Paper-III (Essay, Précis writing and comprehension)

Time : 2 Hrs

The medium of writing of essay may be opted by the candidate as Hindi or English. However, Medium of writing précis and comprehension will be English.

Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :

The candidate who qualify in paper-I & II of the written examination will only be called for physical standard test & physical Efficiency test by the Nodal Agency at Agency .

Male Candidate :

i.        100 meters race to be completed in 16 Sec

ii.       800 meter race to be completed in 3 min.

iii.      Long Jump-3.50 meters.

iv.      Hight 1.05 meter

v.       Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) 4.50 mts.

i.        100 meters race to be completed in 18 Sec

ii.       800 meter race to be completed in 4 min.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
(I) AGE: Between 18 to 25 years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 07.05.2012)
Note
(a) Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST by 5 years and for OBC by 3 years.
(b) The upper age limit shall be relaxed by the length of military service increased by 3 years in case of Ex-servicemen.
(c) Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for Departmental candidates and in addition 5 years age relaxation for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe and 3 years for Other Backward Classes.

(e) Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of all persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st day of January 1980 to the 31st day of December 1989.
(II) EDUCATIONAL & OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

b) Other allowances: The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass, free medical facilities and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions.These posts will be covered under Restructured Defined Contribution Pension Scheme.
